Here are some key points in plain English about how we access your Slack workspace and your data.
How we use permissions:
We only request Bot level Slack permissions, which means we have no authority to access detailed user information or perform actions on behalf of users.
These are the specific permissions we request and how we use them:
Join public channels in the workspace
View basic information about public channels in the workspace
Request Reason: To enable channel select function in forms and to read channels that the forms is a part of to know if it part of that channel or not
Send messages as @forms
Request Reason: To send back the users submitted form as a response
Add actions and/or slash commands that people can use
- Store or view any of your messages or form responses.
- Store any personal information on our database regarding names, emails or other personal information aside from information needed to carry out service expected. That includes your Team ID, securely generated Access token with relevant scopes, subscription status and Slack User ID if that user has granted the app permission.
Please feel free to review the permissions you have allowed our app anytime and delete if you feel necessary. We also encourage you to contact us if you have any concerns.
